Job description

  • Management of Press Shop division factory floor supervision and leadership
  • Manages all resources such as, machinery, materials and labour to meet production demand
  • Drives performance by directing all production to meet schedules, quality standards and maximum production efficiency
  • Ensures quality, productivity and safety on the factory floor
  • Enforces safety regulations and protocols
  • Ensures all machinery and equipment are correctly operated and maintained
  • Schedules maintenance activities to ensure zero downtime on the production line in the Press Shop
  • Sets goals and objectives as per production demand
  • Advises on operating instructions to optimise performance
  • Provides ongoing technical guidance to the team
  • Monitors schedules and ensures adherence thereto
  • Assists with forecasting of manufacturing hours and delivery of outputs
  • Maximises asset and resource optimisation to ensure that production targets and quality standards are met
  • Assesses and ensures all production is in accordance with quality standards
  • Manages and maintains inventory levels
  • Ensures on time delivery and manages the flow of products
  • Provides accurate and timely production reporting
  • Communicates and reports back regularly with senior management and support functions
  • Reports problems and possible delays to relevant parties

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Grade 1
  • Computer Literacy
  • Ability to extract data from technical drawings and specifications
  • Practical knowledge of fundamental technical/quality requirements
  • Valid Drivers Licence and own vehicle

Salary:
R4,000.00 per month
